The LaSalle Parish 4th- and 8th-grade students
consistently score among the highest in the state on
the
National LEAP test.
There are several special programs in the LaSalle
Parish School System including programs
for gifted and talented children, vocational
programs, and a model foreign language program.

Temple Christian Academy (K2-8):

Temple Christian Academy (TCA) uses the ABEKA
program. Students have the advantage of smaller
classrooms, which provide more one-on-one attention.
Tuition is considerably lower than most private
schools and is very comparable to day care rates.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION
Louisiana Technical College, Rod Brady Branch,

is located here in Jena. The state-funded
vocational-technical school offers courses in the
following programs:
